In 2007, I made a fabric postcard every day, and a set of page sized journal quilts every month.
In February, I made this one that says "if wishes were horses, I'd still wish for a horse"
When I was a kid, I'd have these moments where I counted how many horses would appear, if I wished for horses, barns, cats, dogs, a trailer to carry them about, enough money to support them. I had to know how many so I could wish for the right size barn.
I realized this morning, that wishing is more powerful than I had previously expected. Also, that I should be careful what I wish for. Also, that I have four, count 'em, four horses I am working on, teaching me things, teaching them things....
I think I don't need to wish for a horse. Not right now.
I should probably wish for patience and endurance instead
