paintbox, repainting, repaintboxing?
Jun. 15th, 2019 04:28 pmI am a roasty toasty paint-spattered pop-tart.
With help, we fished all five flats out of winter storage, gave everything two or three coats of this lovely lovely expensive paint that stirs like honey and covers everything. I am lightly sunburned, grateful for the nearly perfect weather that was not too hot, but sunny enough and breezy enough that everything dried really fast, grateful for the shade from trees that covered us even as the sun moved, so so unspeakably grateful for the help. I wasn't sure I needed an assistant this year. I totally needed an assistant for this part of the project, and he was a superstar. Also weirdly into 80s music for a 21year old, but we coped. Also we bopped. Everything has fresh new paint, and i even acquired some moving blankets to pad things in the barn and in transit this summer. Go ME!!
I am holding still until I need to get up and finish dinner for the masses at my house tonight. they were at the other house last week, and I bowed out because I knew I'd need all the xi I could muster for the moving business.
