losing and finding

I had lost the will to make things this morning. Fortunately I regained it when Timna let me root through her scraps bag and take away all the things that looked interesting. That is a relief. Plus and also now i have a half a trashbag of various scraps of purples plus a pile of things she hated but will be useful for landscapes. I hope.

We were amused that we each of us wanted to be able to do what the other one did, but not really? She wants to have made realistic looking landscapes, and I wish I had her eye for color and design. and also her willingness to do curvy things and free form things, and pieced things and hand applique. you should go see her stuff. Really.

And then an hour and lunch with the choreographer who is becoming a friend as well, and school and got the cans of paint out of the back of the car finally and into the school.

Tomorrow I ride the gray horse.

When I next see my personal trainer i will ask about when i might test ride her horse.
When I see Elaine i will ask about a test ride on her horse.
And i thought i might be riding less this winter. foolish thinking.

Something will become clear.
