dancing_crowAerin is writing a list of things she needs/wants to take to college. Of course, college for her is 5 miles away, and we can bring her anything she wants that she doesn't want to purchase... BUT never mind because at least she is thinking about it.
And she is kind of freaking out about All The Things various lists are telling her she'll want, like a nice dress (she has A nice dress, it is a VERY NICE dress, in fact it is the infamous tornado prom dress. That is it [finito] in the dress department) or food or dishes or tea making or a tiny fridge or hangers or make-up ...
So she has started her own list. Under clothes there is a single period, because she doesn't have that many and she'll probably take most (except The Dress). Under books is a short list of favorites. There is the possibility of bringing a small bookcase. A night light. a desk lamp and office supplies. And waaaay down at the bottom is a list of things she will probably not need, just to satisfy herself that she's remembered to think of them. It includes a PFD, a paddle, sunscreen and the prom dress.
