Done, after a heinous amount of ripping back. They are too tall now, and a little odd in the toes, but they are cosy and soft and headed to my step-mother for the coming holiday.
I got extra ink and card stock for making postcards for the holiday, which I should do soon if they are not to be, well, Valentine's Day objects.
Truffles (of chocolate) are in the works for the afternoon, and possibly parts of tomorrow. With rum, or orange, or possibly lemon but that just makes Al's eye's water. And maybe candying some orange and grapefruit peel, because we have 22 lbs of the things (go Band!).
ETA that is a truly horrible picture.
