I rode Penny, and Rachel rode Ruby and did great. That was all bareback work, because it was c-c-cold and there was too much snow to canter or trot much, so I made patterns in the ring, and Rachel followed them. She did well, and Ruby's brain hardly itched at all, and Penny was great, and I decided there that it wouldn't kill Bully to be walked in the same kind of way.
And so, I rode the Bully horse, at a walk, around in circles. It was good.
I realized there were many hurdles; catching him, fending off the obnoxious mare, worrying about being overseen and criticized (worrying about judgement seems to be a really huge one, even if I don't think these people are equipped to judge me) or laughed at, or sneered at... I do not worry about any of that with the Canadians, just with Bully's current location.
He moves at the end of the month.
I need a riding in snow icon.
