dancing_crowOrion always cheers me. he is so recognizable and so friendly, and Sirius the dog star ranges along at his heels and there he is over the garage when I get home late at night in the winter in the dark and the cold.
Alice and I were galloping about in the cold night looking for the big dipper and Orion, but the moon was too bright, and the clouds were in the way. I think he's not up til later anyway. But it was great fun to go out, and get cold and amused, and then come in and be warm.
The infant mayor (22 years old!) one town to the south has decided he should be in on the bidding for a casino, which i think is a horrible idea. There is a lot of fuss in both communities because we don't want it in general, and we don't want that developer (already done bad stuff in this town) and we don't want it to go there on the mountain. So. Flak in all directions.
