clearly having threatened the indigo vat with chemical balancing, or maybe ignoring it during the hot weather, has brought it around - this batch was much closer to the colors I had in mind.
The weather finally broke last night, I woke up with cold feet. I fetched friends from the airport. Alice and I went to the library, Aerin rode her bike with her young man and his brother, and brought them home for supper. Not one but TWO large, hungry, sweaty teenage boys. Great kids.
