I read a lot of Thurber at an impressionable age. I was particularly fond of Walter Mitty, and the forms of psychological torture inflicted on the loud woman in The Catbird Seat.
Does anyone still read him? has his work aged at all well?
I also loved his illustrations, and tried to draw like that for most of a year.
