a day of frantic errand running and surprisingly leisurely cooking. Finished sewing these guys for the cousins, Alice and her bestest friend stuffed them (we ran out and had to get more stuffing, and invested in eyes at the same time)

Vertses came for supper. Alcie and I had missed seeing Lita because of MIT, so we owed her some visiting time, yanno, spare grandmothers are valuable and should be coddled and visited.

Menu: roasted vegetables (carrots, parsnips, anise, sweet potato, mushrooms, squash, in olive oil with salt), cauliflower&fractals in garlic butter, rice pilaf, roasted tiny potatoes, bluefish and beef sirloin


Cathy and Alice helped me sew up the the megafauna, I attached button eyes and festive bows and we are ready to roll tomorrow.
