What am I fretting over without actually doing anything about it yet? (also what should the next single step be?)

Music Man set design -

• draw some pictures


• draw some floor plans


• re-read script and get some idea of flow


• think about deadlines, and build times, and using the stage

that kid -

• nothing but listen, I think, perhaps prod gently

Kaboose: blankets, halter, clipping, finances

• fetch larger halter from Bob's, also supplement if they want it administered


• measure for rain sheet, order from Dover!Sale!Cheap!!


• bring scissors and trim bridle path, leave the rest alone


• once the weather breaks slightly, contemplate a trace clip


• (as an aside, OMG we are SO shaggy and fluffy and disreputable looking next to the George Clooney horse [GP thankyouverymuch] and others that have been blanketed and clipped and spa-dayed or even just not bred for the winters of Quebec... but just typing that made me remember Disreputable Dog from that book [Abhorsen maybe?] and I feel better. very slightly.)


• I can aaaaaalmost support boarding the mare with art income. I could lean into that a little harder...

• my kids, either one (Alice basically defying time and puberty and yet being sucked along one tiny step at a time, still killing it in high school, Aerin heading into some form of adulthood one tiny step at a time, working on thinking about where she wants to be and what she can do with her degree well in advance of desperately needing to do SOMETHING ANYTHING AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!)


• the process of making things; once I get started I know what to do


• my car (thank you Al, and I might just get real snowtires if life goes more like this)


• turning up the heat (again, thank you Al)


• house cleaning


• feeding people


• new year's resolutions


• exercise (hah. take THAT, stupid puritan work ethic!)
