senior awards ceremony @ high school. Aerin won something to do -with band, and something for dedication to academics - not that I'm not proud of her, it just seems like the beginning of a loong career in school, and it feels foolish to get too excited about HS when everyone thinks she'll be doing graduate work in a few years. so.
