I think this might be the first time I have taken anything from a sketchbook and used it in a fabric piece. I drew these people, thinking about bird-headed characters, and they kind of got away from me. What seems odd is that they do not resemble the sketchbook people in any particular way. The line work isn't right, I wanted the colors of the people to be different, I don't actually like the background that much, and I don't think there is enough contrast between figure, ground and line.

All of which means I have another several of these to make to see if I can correct these issues, and bring the objects closer to the concept.
