I hear you, so much, about the horses. Re: your sadness - on the surface you may feel like you aren't carrying a lot of the load with your dad, but the emotional work you're doing there is intense - I think it's very realistic that it's wearing you out. I do hope you decide to talk to someone, because having a neutral set of ears is priceless.
