You can buy hose cozies for about $10 on Etsy or eBay, which may make it usable. (I am assuming the problem is condensation in the hose.) Or agitate for a system with a heated hose, next time you see the sleep doctor. (I have a hose cozy and crocheted myself. Mostly to keep the cat from chewing on the hose, but it also helps with the condensation.)
Oh! Thank you! The current cold is not thermal but illness, and his nose is simply not working, with or without any adaptations to the hose, but that is good to know if condensation does get to be a problem.
