new tall boots, that are actually tall this time, and also zip over my calves which the old pair stopped doing
that is the gray horse Nuada (a celtic hero also known as Silver Hand) who summers on Martha's Vineyard, and winters near here
I've been offered a wednesday and friday ride on him. He's fun - good natured, tends to slow down, responds to affection
I might have been offered some riding on E's black morgan dude, who is either fast or slow and tricky to ride, but has masses of training I could benefit from. If that works, I guess I am back to four or five days riding again. Which i did not expect. Especially having just bought boots. that is generally the moment when I go on indefinite hiatus. It is The Leather Boot Curse.

I look at that picture and am torn between "nice straight back" and "eurgh fatness" and "nice boots!"

Managed to finally cross paths with AM for lunch when I fetched her from the high school
talked about everything and then took her to see the studio because explaining my work is impossible
I have another ten leaves - mostly dark red - for the ten leaves series (more pix of that later)

i rowed on the rowing machine
I am still grumpy but it is making me laugh so - I dunno what is going on
cold weather is nice, but it could have spent more time around a happy medium where sweaters are nice? instead of going straight from baking to freezing.
