So... I was going to say we lost my dad, but really what we did (my brother and me) was misplace him. He was at one hospital, and then went home and then was ... somehow worse this morning? I don't know, I still haven't heard from my stepmother.

My brother called here trying to figure out where dad was. I called everyone I could and didn't get through. My brother wound up calling every hospital in Portland before our stepmother reached him and told him where they were.

It was a very ugly couple hours. The good news is, he is less hospitalized: moved from the big regional one to the smaller local one.

The more I think about it, the more I think he'll wind up in rehab down here rather than in their new house.

I am going to knit in circles and sing the fuckety-boo song.

I worked this morning - Arabs doing dressage works, and the quality of it was good. There were a couple reeeally nice tests. I was scoring single-handed, but I realized that many of the classes had only one entry, so I worried less about those. The wind tried to carry off everything, and was cold. We kept adding rocks to the pile holding down the finished tests. It was good to be done.
