I finished this today.

I completed an entry for Art Quilt Elements 2016 - although the deadline had me stumped: did they mean Sept 30, or Monday which is in fact Sept 28? So I adressed it today and I think i even put down when i might hear back from them on my google calendar. (The largest drawback for me to using google calendar is that I can't see more than one month at a time. If there is an answer I would be grateful.)

I went to a short meeting of high school theater kids and they were excellent. (the one who is not excellent was not there, and i have to have a heart to heart with him tomorrow. Or when ever I can get him to not run away from me)

The solar people came and re-dug my (excellent) trench for additional electrical work, and bolted things to the roof of both the house and the garage, and tomorrow they will bolt the panels to that and finish the electrical business. And then we sell power to the electrical company, during peak sun, and they take that off our electrical bill. I really really REALLY wanted to be able to run the house off the panels, but apparently that is a completely different process, and is not feasible for us now. Also batteries.

also I had a birthday yesterday and I am now a speed limit old, but a Carter-era speed limit not a current western states speed limit. Al made cake, and there was more than enough sushi, which was lovely. I had a headache and a bad attitude. I think I should not be allowed to celebrate my birthday, I don't enjoy it enough.
