also streaming head cold, Alice puking and Al coming down with something
My mother is so mad that i got sick and couldn't come to a family thing - she actually said, on the phone, "you owe me" which made me twitch. right after she told me to tell my father (divorced for 26 years now!) that he could stay with her if he needed a place to sleep while he was doing some work for his old company (no! no no NO!!!! - tell him yourself, I do not carry messages, that alone took me FUCKING DECADES to learn both before and after they divorced) And then she says "well, you've gone monosyllabic, I'll just go now" because I CANNOT THINK OF A SINGLE USEFUL THING TO SAY.
