I've outsourced my ceiling fan issue, so I have returned to MIGHTY status. in my own head, at any rate. Although there are now smudgy fingerprints on the ceiling, (mostly Alice's and mine from yesterday's abortive attempt to remove the housing) so it is a good thing I have both a mop for cleaning up and a tiny bit more paint.
