and we keep our boats small so we don't need a bigger pond. This one, on loan from a circus friend who is working a cruise ship in Europe, is right at the top end of how big a boat can be and be fun on this pond.

This peaceful sailing was interrupted by the two younger girls (the ones doing stuffed animal aeronautics yesterday) in a kayak, armed with squirt guns. Epic battle ensued, replete with boarding, swamping and salvage. Deeply satisfying all around.

I made a circle too, but it wasn't much. Just keeping my hand in, really.
