These are fun
Emma is here because her parents are in England. She and Alice spent a large part of the afternoon throwing stuffed animals out the (second story) window and timing their descent. They then rigged a string for easier retrieval, and did the process again with home made parachutes. I think they might have made a graph as well.
They sat on the stern of the trailerable boat we've acquired and discussed the results, then walked to town to get a better stop watch, then came back for some food and set to work on Alice's grand plan in the back yard. She's been waffling between a viking ship and a pirate ship for two weeks. I'm interested, but resolutely uninvolved, beyond materials and tools acquisition.
