I think am on the edge of depression, and kept from tipping over the cliff by the meds I'm (already) on for migraines.

I am utterly uninspired by anything. I am in the middle of stress dreams over going off to camp (will I know enough? will I be bored? will there be food I want to eat? will it be fun??? a learning experience? simply horrible? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!!!)

and yet, good things are going on. My riding teacher's mother-in-law is visiting from Belgium, and Suzanne showed her my other blog, and she anted to see my work and meet me. Which is really cool! They went up to see Shelburne Falls and admired the work in the gallery there, and then met me at Cup and Top for more art and coffee and a wide ranging talk on creating things and techniques and materials. And! I have a commission! and I charged the largest number I could without snerking, and she didn't flinch. So. one 8x10 pond w/ a fall feeling, coming up.

I also have another commission for a friend from HS - an installation in the corner of her room that is all about sunrise and rocks and horizons and ocean. I should write her and tell her I've got the beginnings of ideas, but need to get back from Maine first.
