Jan. 28th, 2012 08:45 pmMuch less useful work on Kaboose today, so we went out and walked around the melting disgusting fields instead. Trail ride tomorrow, and longer schooling on Monday. Sitting trot, rounding the canter, keeping from curling, it all goes together...
Red Kate returned from far away and came to play. We walked around town looking for laser cufflinks for Al, and an evening gown for me, for Al's company's Christmas party at the end of February. And other Kate errands. And apples, for this lovely apple cake/custard thing for dessert, which is lovely.
This circle has seven fours, for twenty eight. Aerin's Young Man has been thrashing through the sevens times table because Al wants faster reaction time from him if they are to be working on math together. Al does these math help things. People who need help with math pay him in baked goods for tutoring. I call math errantry - good deeds through math instruction. He's helped a neighbor get into Smith, and a friend get her GED, and now AYM is solidifying his math before diving into intensive programming for his degree.
