Part of Aerin's tech crew has a need for a truly goofy hat.

She has injured her wrist in a way that suggests RSI, is in the middle of hell week, and is taking notes in class on her laptop which she has to lug around for the purpose, except in Calc, which is just difficult.

Alice, on the other hand, does not have strep, even though she is ill with something that includes a sore throat and phlegm.

Alice and I have composed the Freeze Thaw Cycle Duet, although it seems to be turning into a cantata as we keep driving around: The bass line is a syncopated chant of "pot holes, pot holes, pot holes" and timpani solos on the steering wheel, accompanied by a high warbling chorus of "Maple syyyyrup, maaaaaaaaaaaple syyyyyyyruuuup, maple syyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyrup" and a partial listing of things to put it on, including pancakes, waffles, cornbread, muffins, ice creeeeeam, baked apples, oatmeal, maple pie - continue the list in the comments, if I've missed anything
