cold? OMG take your breath away cold - I went up to the barn expecting to lunge Image and wound up riding after all, and it was absolutely worth it.

Almost done with the Noro socks, and I wanted more Noro more than anything else so I stopped at Webs and picked up some silk garden sock yarn almost at random. I realized the yarn I was really enjoying the current yarn, especially the slow color change and the crunchy feeling fabric, so I wanted to have another skein ready to go when I finished these, which I think I will do tonight.

We wound up the evening eating fabulous food w/ Red Kate (she made wonderful, swooningly fabulous roasted pears with vanilla caramel sauce, so I made a Lazy Daisy cake to go with), and then looking up her date from last week using only his cell phone.
