Taking Alice to school this morning - she's better, but still sniffly - and this moon spoke to me, so I dashed back and grabbed the camera. Mornings have been clear, and the moon keeps talking to me.

I have to write a paragraph or two about my art, and pick two pictures to send to the gallery manager so she can get publicity started for us. I like the forethought, but I have no clue what to say. I figure I'll start blabbing about tools and passion, and what I am attempting to show people and then pare it down to the point where it makes sense. And is grammatical.

Lesson today at the new barn, with the daughter. She knows whereof she speaks, but took a couple years off, and (she says) forgot her vocabulary. So a lot of the lesson was talking about half halts (she still remembers that) and coiling them up and letting them go. It is a more allusory way to think about things, but I think it might work. I usually take a set of 4 or 6 lessons with someone anyhow, so we can learn each others language a little, and see if we work well together.

and then Circus Tonight!! and my nose is dribbling; I think kind Alice shared her cold. Or maybe I just forgot to duck when the bug flew by.

noodling with the little computer, and making things work... I am feeling deeply pleased with myself - I climbed the fabric, attempted a heel hang, balanced people on my back - very solid, if out of practice.
