So now the red mare is broken, and the black one is on the mend....
I think it is a stone bruise, and I think she'll be fine in a couple days. But probably not in time for the show next Sunday.

While I am grateful to have a fallback horse, changing my expectations is making me twitch.

It looks like I will ride Penny next Sunday, having organized my registration up to the farm and visited with Janice and Elaine and Elaine's extremely aged mare

I walked out of the fabric store with nuthin. I think that might be a first.
