dancing_crow Aerin wins the prize for weirdest teeth in the family. Her regular dentist thought she was missing an adult tooth, because the baby tooth was still in place and the adult one wasn't visible in the regular x-rays. The orthodontist (who did Alice's new braces, and has been tinkering with Al's teeth for 3 years now) took a panoramic x-ray of her whole mouth, well beyond the roots both top and bottom, and found the missing tooth. It has tipped over, and is heading across the front of the front 4 teeth, at the very bottom of the roots, aiming for her right ear. Aerin is deeply amused that her dentist owes her orthodontist a buck over her teeth. We go to an oral surgeon next, to see what they might recommend.
