greek copper horse
Sep. 2nd, 2010 02:38 pmPicked him up of the pile and finished him today, mostly so he could go keep E. company as her hip heals. She is back in the valley, and in rehab, two doors down from her dad, which is making J.'s life easier (both of her gimps in one place) but still hard.
So I found a picture of this horse (clearly - this is from a detailed photo) but now I can't find it again, so I cannot tell you anything about it. Age, dates, size... nuthin'. Which is a little frustrating, but maybe I'll find more later. I think it is smallish, like 4 or 5 inches, and copper because it is this lovely bluey-green color. There are other figures about this size that look like flat pieces of metal cut and bent into horse shapes, but no one knows what they are all about either. Grave goods? Home altars? More knowledge would be lovely.
