I have been experimenting with reading for integration, because my town is not terribly integrated, and my life isn't either, so I have to imagine and read. I read NK Jemmison's Hundred Thousand Kingdoms which was lovely, and surprisingly funny, and caught me completely off guard, and I quite liked it and I'm very much looking forward to the next one. I read The Coyote Kings of the Space Age Bachelor Pad, and after a struggle at the beginning of Every Single Chapter to decide who was talking I think I almost understand what happened. I am glad to have read it. And I am looking for other work from the same author, if anyone knows of something.

If anyone has recommendations, I'll look them up.
