Leonor and I traveled to NH to Cheshire Horse for one of their fabulous sales. I now have leathers and irons for the second saddle, and don't have to swap them back and forth. Plus a new (dark blue) helmet because the old one did its job, new spring gloves, 4 new cheap dressage whips because the ponies eat the handles, and a new jumping bat for Bob because I think I lost his favorite one in the woods last summer. I already did new britches because I'd lost one pair and the others had a strategic hole that I'd mended repeatedly and it wasn't holding. I made Al help me take of my new britches in the hospital so they wouldn't cut them off. And the boots.

It was really nice visiting with Leonor in the car up and back. We had lunch too. We spent half the trip up talking about various crashes and near misses falling off horses, and then spent time trying to make each other laugh. I had a lot of fun.
