Sumac - more a large bush than a small tree, except in the Valley where ground is fertile
Weather: flipping hot.
Horse: also hot, we walked 75 minutes through the woods, both of sneezing at pine pollen in the same places. Also horse was incredibly greedy. But very forward.
distribution of children took a very long time, and entailed talking the borrowed one down from a crying jag probably precipitated in part from lack of sleep over the weekend which was entirely my fault. We got things straightened out, and she decided she likes root beer.
As a side note, Alice likes orange soda which tastes like the baby aspirin of my yoot, and she hates the grape soda which tastes like the antihistamines or her (ongoing) yoot.
Today I drank: 2 large iced coffees, one large peach tea with boba (new obsession, very embarrassing) half gallon of water, quart of lemonade, glass of soy stuff, and the last of the orange-vanilla seltzer which tastes much nicer than it sounds. I should slosh, except I think I sweated it all back again.
And now, thunder and lightening and rain. Glad Aerin declined the senior picnic? yes, on so many grounds...
