It has reached the point where a one horse day feels restful. Even if it is the red horse thinking about tossing me on my head instead of settling into her work. I have been experimenting with feeding her a banana a day, because someone who knows things said it helped cranky horses sometimes. She also suggested magnesium (I think - I'll definitely check with her before I do anything rash) to help moodiness. Which frankly I should try on myself.
Tomorrow is Pi(e) day, which Aerin has claimed for her birthday as well, and Abby has co-claimed. So today I started pie acquisition and construction. I'm making the worlds most wonderful chocolate cream pie from Cooks Illustrated, and have relied on Atkins for apple, raspberry, blueberry and three berry. I am lacking rhubarb, and hoping someone will bring lime.
Since today is Pi(e) Day Eve we had whoopie pies for dessert. We take this holiday seriously. Al suggested it should be a fraggle holiday, and we agreed. We all want to be fraggles when we grow up.
