Saturdays are just weird at the farm. Kaboose was on high alert, although she mostly managed to keep her head. J was watering the indoor, and there was a SNAKE hose that was unexpected, and then the water made SNAKE NOISE!!!! noises, and that was kind of nervewracking. She held it together on the crossties until the SNAKE hose was pulled out of the ring and carried outside for draining, at which point it was ll too much and bolted into a stall to stare out the window at it. We breathed deeply and got the bridle clapped on and did some stompy work in the ring, and walked around the outside of the field. This is not the first Saturday that has had these moments; hose moments, and snow on the roof moments, and noises in the barn when we're in the indoor and vice versa moments. 

My sewing machine is fixed and home. I am so relieved. T's machine is perfectly usable, but doesn't do quiiite what I expect. My machine has trained me well, and I know exactly how to do what I want. 

I am having fun adding stitching to felting. The leaf is lumpy and should be thinner felt, the background is genius except the color is unfortunate, and the veining in the leaf needs to be more definite, both with color and with thread weight. I know how to fix all those things.
