trotting is curled behind the bit and losing the shoulder, instructions to "sit on your reins" do not help if you have little useless t-rex arms; aside from the fact that I cannot simultaneously bend my elbow and drop my hands (nobody can - basic physiology requires otherwise)... cantering is flat, labored and without jump, I need to get more from the hind legs
also I have lost my ride book, with about half still to go. it was in the car and I was updating it regularly, and then I brought it inside to finish an update and now it is somewhere in the house and I hope the mouse is not eating it or nesting in it. I almost bought a new one today, but then I got fantasies of consolidating everything in life into one book, with a calendar and a ride log and maybe even a sketch book and grocery lists - I was standing in Staples piling things into a basket when I second guessed myself and dropped everything and came home. So.
