inspired by the candle holders that I've loved so hard the branches are slightly singed, I tried my hand at 3D trees. I think they are not technically 3D but 2, 2D bits at cross purposes, however they stand up and they are making me absurdly pleased with myself.

I thought of how to do it better and easier, as I was finishing these off. I'd try the new process, except I don't know how many of these I want around if they don't sell at the craft fair this weekend. I realized I need a lab notebook. Bench notes. Something like that. I've been writing these as I remember them on the canvas protecting my table, but I might need a more organized place to keep them.

Thank you for your kind words about grief yesterday. Al says it is like thunder storms; it rolls through and is tempestuous, and then things clear up again. It certainly caught me off-guard.
