the frustration keeps mounting in the car inspection sticker saga -

I got turned down flat by the garage on account of License Plate Too Ratty, so i have the paper from my insurance company that will allow me to get new replacement plates for free, but then the RMV was closed because Columbus Screwing the Indians Day (why don't weeeee have Thanksgiving today??? It would be such an awesome day for Thanksgiving, but noooooo, instead it is just another reason to move to canada.) so I shall attempt tomorrow to get to the registry with some bolts or screws, having pre-loosened the plates here where I can address the screws with a hammer or hack saw, and then take the newly plated car BACK to see if it can pass all the tests required after pouring far too much money into it hoping it will make it or another two years.

And after a perfectly lovely ride on Kaboose I dismounted onto a Giant Fucking Rock that made my ankle twist and it is sore. Not broken or sprained I don't think, but tender even after having been iced on and of all afternoon.
