Red horse in the other saddle. Which feels different, maybe a little nicer than the other. I'll swap back tomorrow again. All three saddles seem to be down an eighth of an inch in the cantle - the way her back is built? A small lift works fine, but... 

bolted back to town to try on dresses with company. The store woman was wonderful, the friend was wonderful, and now I have a dress, and I know that two others looked great. There was one I really liked but it was a) screamingly expensive, b) requiring a fair amount of alterations to fit better and c) a slit up the front of the skirt, which I don't think flashes my most seductive parts. I mean, my legs are serviceable, work well, carry me about, but they are.... sturdy. Not what I want to be flashing people. So.
