hideous weather! rain and heavy snow and blick and blorch falling from the sky... I shoveled, so I did something (physical) today. 

I called my friend T who rolled her eyes when we talked about sewing machines last  and said if she brought another one into the house  her husband would have issues, and she very kindly loaned me a basic Bernina roughly the same era as my beloved fancy one that is indisposed. She also told me where to get mine fixed, and the best news was that they could frequently do simple things while you wait. And A said there was a brilliant bakery across the street from the awesome bookstore  and to make sure I got into both. 

T inspired me to sign up for a sketching class at the Springfield museums, but the class thinks it is full, which it wasn't when I signed up. I also signed up for a casting class, just because.
