An endangered breed, good for eggs and mean and thereby useful for small flocks.

Long trail ride this morning with Bob and Susan. I had had a really vivid dream about Susan; someone had been describing her good points to me, a good rider, funny, clever with words, and finished with "you do know she's a vampire?" When I relayed this dream to her she laughed and laughed - it was a running joke for the ride, about being in the shade, or how the bugs weren't bothering her...

anyhow. Have another chicken. I think I need to make a red one, maybe a frizzle red one. Or a Sebastopol goose - they are madly fluffy.
