eleven and a catastrophe
Jan. 11th, 2012 09:30 pmI'm fine, the family and horses are fine, but
I broke my sewing machine. The needle doesn't go down, it goes up and stays up, while the feed dogs flap and the tension arm bobs up and down and it is VERY distressing.
Two horse day.
I tried a new saddle with Kaboose, because the one I am using only mostly fits her and is really too small for me (part of it is my fat ass, and part of it is my long thigh bone). This saddle was lovely but distinctly Not The One. It bit me in odd ways that I am told have to do with twist. I managed to keep riding for a short workout for her, and then got off gratefully.
Nuada was great. I rode through First level test one three times, just seeing if it was in my head, and if we had the chops to do it. We totally did. He has training as well as kindness, and it is gratifying to have access to the training.
