I am MIGHTY, also motivated to be less grumpy, and I have sucessfully replaced the spout and the shower head in the bathroom (which had been broken for a loong time, we just worked around it) AND I replaced the toilet peper roll.
BEHOLD ME AS I WIELD MY WRENCH OF DOOM!!!!
now the questions remaining are:

- will Alice demand to rescue any of the replaced items (she still has the previous shower head, for no reason I can fathom)

- will Aerin notice when she comes home this weekend
- did I do the spout right so that it doesn't leak
