craft fair
Dec. 3rd, 2011 09:13 pmdone and done.
sold all the chicken cards, I shall have to get more printed.
sold one original chicken - my favorite of the bunch, the big black hen
sold one pkg of horse cards
no ornaments sold.
I am thinking I need to focus on one thing. I make too many different feeling things, and people find it easier to think about my stuff if it is less all over the place
the funniest sale was a little old, slightly deaf lady who wanted one of two light-up Christmas trees my mom brought to decorate the table. After saying what it was she was still looking at me like I was deaf AND stupid, so told her five bucks, and she paid me and went away happy. After she left all my neighbors burst out laughing. And yet, she was happy.
I tried to buy a little fake tree to hang the ornaments on at Joann's, and they weren't officially open yet. But I roused a person, and she asked her manager, and I couldn't leave money with them to pay for the tree, and they couldn't fire up a cash register early... I was mystified and mad, and swore if someone wanted somehting and was willing to pay, I'd bloody well sell it to them. Hence the small tree sale.
