Jun. 5th, 2010 10:18 pmHot, and tired, and footsore. Followed the Heifer parade in Brattleboro, carrying a ton o crap.
Red Kate did come up to the Strolling of the Heifers, or at least the festival at the end of the parade, in time to see Aerin's second fabric performance. She (Aerin) is getting so good at this.
Dropped Aerin off to play bassoon for graduation ("hooours of Pomp and Circs - aargh!") and made supper for Al and Kate. Al was attempting to explain various experiments with light to Kate. I just made a cake. Ended evening with experiments on Kate's cell phone, which gives her odd headaches. One or two layers of tinfoil work to insulate her from the worst effects, so we sent her home with a tinfoil beanie.
