snow ice rain home

No ponies Wed because it was snowing/freezing raining/icing over and I wasn't going anywhere. School was canceled. Local roads flooded when the inches of rain couldn't make it off the roads in the usual way because of snow and ice already blocking the drains. I managed to stay in almost all day, until rock climbing (changed to Wed for 4 classes) when I dangled children on strings. I didn't even climb.

I am having a creative funk. I want to make t-shirts with rhinos on them, but not the art projects that I am thinking I should be making. I am sick of my self imposed project, I have some ideas that I hate when I stand in my studio, and I would like a break please.

I am making the t-shirts. I have pictures of rhinos that I can transfer onto them, I like the results, other people want them, I guess it counts as making something. I am knitting, which is peaceful, and feels useful when I am sitting and waiting for things to happen but feels really like shirking when I am sitting at home in my chair and thinking about other things.

circus today. I shall do gorgeous things in the fabric. My goal is a short piece for the recital in May. Very short. Under a minute.
