 I am sitting outside (squinting at the screen which is really not designed for this) waiting for Midas to finish fixing the muffler. IT was, um, throaty, for a month or so, and then it let loose on Friday and was REALLY LOUD. It was the catalytic converter parting company with the rest of the exhaust system. So Al drove a thing that sounded like a bad motorcycle all weekend, making Aerin crack up every time he accelerated, and I brought it in this morning for an early appointment, which promptly failed. These poor guys have been given the wrong parts, the wrong gaskets, late deliveries... it is getting to be funny. I managed to steal Al's car and get in a ride on Image, and then have a great lunch with Al with happiness-inducing salsa, and now I am camped out here on the (group W) bench waiting for my poor disgraceful car to be done.
