Shakespeare is good entertainment when one is recuperating, and Branagh's Twelfth Night was quite fine, but I am in the middle of some version of Tempest that dates from the veryvery first Star Trek, in point of absolute fact seems to be filmed on the same soundstage with the same (stupid, cheap TV) effects and weird music and odd choral interludes. I rather like Prospero, but dudes - Ferdinand has NO PANTS, plus he looks like some kind of all American Hero, with a lot of strapping across his (extremely manly) chest, and a little tutu across his butt, and NO PANTS.Nice legs, but still....NO PANTS.
In other news, I will be deeply deeply grateful when I no longer feel like puking at 2 hour intervals.
