We actually had a justified snow day today, nice after the humorous interlude where local weather forecasters were completely taken in by the level of paranoia out of DC. So I offer a picture out my back door, of our little, surprisingly local snowpocalypse.

It is lovely to have actual snow on the ground. I've been missing it. It is now heavy and wet snow, having been rained on for the last couple hours, and will probably freeze into something quite vile over the next couple days, but it is winter, and this is much more appropriate weather for us in winter.
