My local (extremely local) fabric store is going out of business. I feel a little bit guilty because I stopped buying fabric about the same time they started having trouble. I started making stuff with what I had on hand, rather than buying (and hoarding) new fabric. I don't think I was supporting them by myself, it was just part of the whole movement to use less, and make more, and shop the stash.
But now I am wavering between going to see what is on sale, and buying things, and not. Because I really Do Not need any more fabric. I have enough to last me for decades, truly, and ideas for using it as well. And yet, all that gorgeous stuff, 25 - 50% off.
